Almost Heaven

Almost Heaven

Almost Heaven

I grew up on a housing estate in the suburb of Tokyo.
A row of square concrete houses of the same shape lined up in the same scenery.
On clear sunny days, these houses blinded my eyes with dazzling white reflection.
A neat white space where there seems to be nothing else.
From there, I could go anywhere I wanted by train or car.
Likewise, I could become anyone I wanted. So everything I saw with my family was part of my home.
Now I am far away from there and looking at the pictuire of my hometown.
Even though I can see myself in these pictures, I barely recognise these places. Where did my hometown go?
I am trying to find the clues out of the pile of family photos.
